Nathan Carlow is a candidate for the 16th District of the Maine House of Representatives, he believes that Maine’s future relies on the controlling of state spending, making critical investments in our economy, and the preservation of all our constitutional rights.

About Nathan

Nathan is a lifelong Mainer, a resident of Buxton, Maine, and a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School. He attends the University of Southern Maine as a political science student.

In 2017, he was elected to the Bonny Eagle School Board, and he currently serves on each of the Board’s three standing committees (Policy, Negotiations, and Finance & Facilities). Nathan takes great pride in his school board work, and he also serves as the Co-Chair and Facilitator of the Budget Advisory Committee, and as a member of the Board’s Special Committee on Strategic Planning. In addition to his service for MSAD 6, Nathan was appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the Maine Association of Middle Level Education in 2019.

Nathan is proud of his community, and he has served on Buxton’s Charter Review Commission, as the Chairman of Buxton Republicans, and as a member of the York County Republican Committee.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys playing with dogs, Willy and Shamrock, playing checkers, or going on morning runs.
